There are now links to both Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Salford for those students who will be graduating in 2008.
Manchester Metropolitan University
The ceremony for UNIGIS students will be on the 8th July at 18.30. Refreshments from 14.30 served in the Quadrangle and surrounding area.
This year's graduation ceremonies will take place at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester between 7 to 12 July 2008.
If you are a currently enrolled student, a postcard will be sent to your term time address giving further details about the graduation website in the week beginning 14 April 2008.
If you passed your course before 31 January 2008, you will receive your invitation through the post in the week beginning 14 April 2008.
In the month's leading up to this special event, important information for graduating students and staff will be posted on the MMU website.
University of Salford
The ceremony for UNIGIS students will be on the 17th July at 4.15pm.
The next Graduation Ceremonies will be held at The Lowry, Salford Quays between 15 to 18 July 2008 Graduates of the University of Salford are entitled to attend a Graduation Ceremony to celebrate their academic success. Every student graduating during the academic year 2007-2008 will be automatically invited to attend a ceremony in July 2008. Students who graduated in previous years and who could not attend a ceremony at the time can also apply to attend.
The Lowry is a modern theatre and art gallery approximately two miles from the main University campus.
There will be 13 ceremonies in total, and graduates will be informed in March 2008 which ceremony they will be invited to attend, depending on the programme the studied. A schedule of when each ceremony will take place will be posted on this website by Christmas 2007. Graduates will be able to confirm attendance from 10 March 2008.
