The MSc co-ordinator is
Dr Mark Cresswell. He is supported by Tracy McKenna in the UNIGIS
Office. If you have any general questions about the MSc programme
then please contact Mark
or Tracy
.
Students complete the Postgraduate
Diploma in GIS before they can proceed to the MSc.
If you wish to be considered
for a place on the UNIGIS MSc programme you should complete
an application form and a risk assessment form and return them
by post, email or fax to Tracy McKenna at the
UNIGIS Office in the UK. Before doing so please take a
look at the MSc Resource Pack.
On this form you are requested to give personal
details about your situation, the UNIGIS site from which you
obtained your Diploma and the method by which you plan to pay
your fees for the MSc. We will use this form to determine whether
or not you are eligible to proceed to the MSc.
Application
Form
(Web version, print out and
fill in)
On this form you are asked to provide
your first ideas about what GIS topic you would like to study
for your MSc. We use this form to help allocate you a research
supervisor. Your MSc can only proceed when this proposal has
been accepted.
N.B. The preferred format for receiving electronic copies (perhaps draft submissions)
is in MS Word format as it is then possible to embed comments and return them by email to the student. The
PDF version is best for those who prefer to handwrite their submission or for
final versions.

N.B. The two forms (above) are the current forms that need to be used.
A specimen project proposal form is available
for you to view and use as a guide to filling out the project
