Ian Drew

Ian is a Course Tutor for UNIGIS UK. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Environmental and Geographical Sciences at Manchester Metropolitan University.

His academic Interests include:

  • Geomorphology and sedimentology of rivers
  • Sustainable drainage
  • Geodiversity and geoheritage conservation
  • River management: including flood risk and channel restoration
  • Shoreline management: coastal flooding and erosion
  • Countyside access and recreation management
