AGI2006 will be held at the Business Design
Centre, Islington, London between 12-14 September, 2006.
This is the leading GI event in the UK and it
has attracted as speakers, senior people from Google, Microsoft,
Pole Star, Oracle and many others.
New for 2006; AGI is introducing two debate
sessions, in which you will be able to participate directly and
contribute to open debate on such issues as Public Sector Information
and the development of the UK GI Strategy.
Each day of the conference has been streamed.
The days are as follows:
Day 1: Technology and Transport & Utilities
Day 2: Local Government and Geography making a difference
Day 3: Central Government and Business & Commerce
Please note that due to feedback from 2005,
the AGI have introduced a new student rate for the conference.
The aim is to make this an affordable experience for students.
If this is a successful initiative we will endeavour to include
it every year.
UNIGIS representatives will be present at the AGI2006 meeting.
