Most of the GIS journals maintain a Web site. The depth of contents of these vary considerably but you may find reviews of news items of interest on these sites.

Geo-connexion	This on-line magazine aims to provide information about developments in the GI community in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. There is also a comprehensive website, updated daily.
GeoInformatics	GeoInformatics is a magazine published for Geo-IT professionals in Europe. It is also meant for those who are active in professions related to geo-information in general. Its Educational Corner contains regular contributions from UNIGIS. Subscription details and Issues on-line are available on the home page.
GeoPlace	Geoplace is the home site of 'GEO World', 'GEO Europe', 'GEO Información', 'GEO Asia Pacific' and 'Business Geographics' magazines. To receive 'GEOReport', a weekly Geospatial Industry Newsletter, you need to provide your name and email address. A VERY useful resource for on-line GIS students.
GIS Cafe	GIS Cafe offers a variety of sources, including features, jobs, a discussion group and news. Worth a visit.
GIS Monitor	An outline list of resources operated by the 'Professional Surveyor' magazine. Describes itself as the "Ultimate Map/GIS directory". Contains some useful links.
Intergraph's Education e-link	The first issue of Education e-Link - the Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions for Education e-newsletter began February 2003. It contains monthly updates, focusing on the latest news, events, teaching and research activities within the academic community, as well as updates on Intergraph's program offerings. Intergraph welcomes feedback and contributions. There is a 'subscribe' button at the bottom of the homepage for the newsletter.
Intergraph's Global Link]	On-line newsletter from Intergraph containing GIS-related articles, map production, location-based services and the Web.
Journal of Geographic Information and Decision Analysis	The Journal of Geographic Information and Decision Analysis is a new electronic journal available free on-line. The primary objective of JGIDA is to provide an open forum for a peer-reviewed, scientific journal devoted to the rapid dissemination of current research on geographic information-based decision analysis.
Open GIS Consortium	Here you'll find the latest press releases, issues of the monthly newsletter, media coverage, brochures and other documents for the Open GIS Consortium.
URISA on-line journal	This is an excellent source of refereed GIS papers, provided by the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association.
