Taylor & Francis

Taylor and Francis are a major academic publisher with a strong list of GIS books. They are also the publishers of the International Journal of GIS. Presently staff from the UNIGIS programme are preparing a new series of accessible GIS books, the 'GIS for Beginners' series, with Taylor and Francis.The first book, [GIS, Organisations and People ] by Derek Reeve and James Petch is currently available.

In their role as 'Friends of UNIGIS', Taylor and Francis also supplies the UNIGIS network with any other of their GIS textbooks at a discount price. We are very pleased that a significant GIS publisher has agreed to help our programme.
