What are the entry requirements
for the course?

To obtain a place on the Diploma/MSc in GIS
you need:
- an honours degree,
- or an HND and relevant professional
experience,
- or relevant professional qualifications.
Each application is considered individually
on the basis of qualifications and experience. Attitude and
degree of commitment are particularly important. Candidates
with an inadequate background in Geography, Computing or related
studies who are otherwise eligible for admission to the course
may be advised to undertake foundation studies. These may include
attendance at appropriate courses or recommended reading.
The course is taught and assessed in
English, so if English is not your first language you may be
required to show evidence of proficiency in English. (IELTS at 6.5, TOEFL at 575 and Computer based TOEFL at 230)
The next UNIGIS UK intake - Intake 18 - will start
in mid September 2008. The fee for the entire course is £4,300.
