Linda is the UNIGIS UK clerical assistant.
I joined UNIGIS in October 2003. I had previously worked at the University of Manchester in a small research unit for 12 years. My job there involved running tests to collect information about older people's attitudes towards and competence with "new" technologies. I had a variety of jobs before that including being a carpenter and joiner for a number of years.
The most important aspect of my job at UNIGIS is to provide support for students during their first two years on the course at the postgraduate certificate and diploma stages. I am your first point of contact if you need any advice or come across any problems. If I am unable to help you directly myself I will find someone who can!
My first priority is to ensure you have everything you require to complete your coursework. You might want some information or you could need some reassurance and encouragement. Here at UNIGIS we aim to provide a friendly and supportive learning environment for you.
